Before submitting the issue, please read:
If wallabag can't parse / extract content for a given link, please first read the documentation about it:
http://doc.wallabag.org/en/user/errors_during_fetching.html#how-can-i-help-to-fix-that

We have a lot of requests about fetching config issue. It'll help us A LOT if you give a try to fix it on your own following the doc.
If you failed to fix it yourself, tick the following boxes:

  • I've tried myself without success
  • I've replaced HOST in the issue title with the host of the URL that can't be fetched (ie: nytimes.com, 20minutes.fr, bbc.com, etc.)

Content related:

Describe what's wrong:
A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.

I get this error when trying to add the above URL:

500: Internal Server Error
An exception occurred while executing a query: SQLSTATE[22007]: Invalid datetime format: 1366 Incorrect string value: '\xF0\x9F\x92\xAA</...' for column `wallabag`.`wallabag_entry`.`content` at row 1

no problem here with my wallabag 2.6.8/mysql and no problem on app.wallabag.it.
So you should provide more info about your system.

Any specific info about my system?

Are you using app.wallabag.it to store your articles or a self-hosted version? If self-hosted, close this issue and open a new one and choose 'bug' instead and fill out the fields of the issue template.

I am not a dev, but I think that could be an issue between wallabag and the database. So it could be helpful to know which database (SQLite, MySQL/MariaDB or PostgreSQL ...) and version you are using.

What version of wallabag are you using? With which database? etc.
