Autocomplete stops working in directories containing spaces #4574
Comments
Hi @TheNoim thanks for reporting. I notice you added the SSH label. Is this issue only happening when you are SSH'd in a remote machine? |
Yes, it only happens on remote machines. |
Is there any update on this? Also suffering for the same issue! |
Hi @mdurao, a fix for this is currently in-flight and should be in the next Warp release. Just to confirm, you're only experiencing this issue when completing in a directory containing spaces? Or is completions not working at all within remote sessions? |
Auto completion works most of the time! But sometimes, in the same tab, switching between different servers, it bugs out! When I tab, it will only autocomplete dirs from the other server and not the actual one!Sent from my iPhoneOn 20 Apr 2024, at 00:48, Daniel Peng ***@***.***> wrote:

Latest update fixed the issue. Thanks. |
@mdurao Mind checking if your issue is fixed now? If not, I think that's a separate problem and I'd recommend opening a new issue so the team can investigate. |
Will do!I’ll open a new issue if needed!TyOn 29 Apr 2024, at 19:42, Daniel Peng ***@***.***> wrote:

This worked just fine in older versions of warp. But can't tell exactly in which version it stopped working. And it stopped working on both of my macbooks.
Include shell xtrace output
Will send via E-Mail
Does this block you from using Warp daily?
Yes, this issue prevents me from using Warp daily.
Is this a Warp specific issue? (i.e. does it happen in Terminal, iTerm, Kitty, etc.)
Only in Warp. Default autocomplete via zsh in vanilla terminal works as expected.
