This is an extension of our emails.

I was asking aout the ability to distribute a base Package Control.sublime-settings file which had a list of package links. This would allow new Sublime text users to install the package and get some really nice settings / packages right off the bat.

I've started the project here: https://github.com/wesbos/Sweet-Sublime-Text-2-Prefs

with the Package Control file here:

https://github.com/wesbos/Sweet-Sublime-Text-2-Prefs/blob/master/Package%20Control.sublime-settings

I'm hoping to create something similar to Janus for Vim: https://github.com/carlhuda/janus

Let me know what you think.

Version 1.3.0 tracks "installed_packages" in the Package Control.sublime-settings file. All currently installed packages will be automatically added. When new packages are installed, they are added, and when packages are uninstalled, they are removed from the list. If you copy a Package Control.sublime-settings file to a machine that does not have all of the "installed_packages" installed, they will be automatically installed upon the next restart of sublime.

Unreal! Thanks so much for adding this feature. I'll now be able to move ahead with the prefs :)
