The config directory is placed in Dropbox and softlinked to $HOME/.config/nvim.
When I'm using my Linux desktop PC, everything is working fine
When I switch to the Macbook, I get these errors when launching nvim:
If I run :PackerCompile the errors disappear and everything works
If I now switch back to the Linux desktop PC and launch nvim, I get those same errors again
If I run :PackerCompile the errors disappear again
So apparently, the packer_compiled.lua file that's compiled on the Linux machine doesn't work on the Macbook and vice versa.
Does packer.nvim just not work well when the config directory is shared between nvim instances? Or is it a Linux/MacOS incompatibility? Can it be configured to work?
