RealStonks is a REST API that scrapes MarketWatch to provide you with real-time stock prices for any NASDAQ-listed stock, along with other parameters like total stock volume, price change and percentage change since last update.

This API was created and deployed as a part of another Deep Learning project involving time-series analysis, that requires a constant inflow of data in order to detect anomalies and predict future stock performance.

Usage:

The following cURL syntax shows how you can use the API:

In the above given syntax, replace {NAME} with the ticker/symbol of the stock, and {RAPIDAPI-PRIVATE-KEY} with the private key associated with your RapidAPI account.

The example given below shows the working of the API, where we use the API to get the stock info for Tesla (ticker = TSLA) stocks.
