@BlackThunderWolf So sorry for the late response. For some reason Issues were not being shown in Slack. Let me get back to you tomorrow about this.

@BlackThunderWolf To follow up on this, subtitles by default do not show in RSS readers and Facebook sharing. The easiest way to fix this would be with a 3rd-party SEO plugin for now I believe, but I am looking into ways of having this information be shared. It's a special data piece that isn't normally included in shared posts data to FB, Twitter, etc., so it'll take some digging.

I've done some digging into this and decided to pass on it. It's been requested in the past, but the two major reasons I don't want to add this into the plugin are that there are other plugins specifically for SEO and the amount of work required to get this working would be less than the number of bugs that adding this into the plugin would create.

Looking at Facebook's post previews without any baked-in SEO tools is pretty good.

My advice would be to look into an SEO-focused plugin and edit your post titles, as the number of social media platforms that handle sharing go far beyond Facebook.

I may consider adding this as an option in the future but there are bigger fish to fry right now.
