I had the same issue as puprs, and I've added that code as well as followed the advice from your attached video from youtube and it still says the same as what it said for puprs! I'm also happy to do whatever testing necessary to make it work! I'm begging you please make this work for Macs! Its so tedious switching over to Bootcamp for clue scrolls. |

I got an idea and thanks to GitHub we now have automated Mac builds - now every commits has .app for Mac alongside .AppImage for Linux. Grab the new .app here (this link always up-to-date). Right now it should has all the same features as the last released version, but the whole process is now auditable ensuring that nothing of harm gets put in the file you download. |

Hi. I tried installing runekit on my imac but it is not working. I followed the instructions in the post, but after granting the three permissions, I launch the app again and it just bounces on the dock for a few seconds and then sits there. In the top left of my screen, next to the apple icon, it says my active app is runekit, but that's it. No windows show up. The app just sits on the dock and acts as though its open while nothing happens. When I granted the second of the three permissions, there was a loading bar that showed up briefly, but that is the only sign of life I have seen so far. In the console I see the error: {ID: RuneKitApp-555549446f7d2eaa668f34f896e5c42a61b62a37, PID[1381], auid: 501, euid: 501, binary path: '/Users/MYUSERNAME/Downloads/RuneKit.app/Contents/MacOS/RuneKitApp'} attempted to call TCCAccessRequest without the com.apple.private.tcc.manager.check-by-audit-token entitlement Any help would be much appreciated. |

Great job on this! I am installing this on my Big Sur and I will let you know how it performs and runs, and if I find any errors/troubles! Thank you for making this! |

Since the new update and font change, afkwarden doesn't seem to detect the font and as such, doesn't really work. Any fixes for this? |

Sosumi might be useful if you have a linux box- it's how I've tested macos releases/building dmg files. Have a look into it! |

Does anyone know if this issue is alt1 related or this specific app related. Thanks. With afk warden when I try to add alerts or load a preset it just brings up an empty webpage, making it unusable. |

I can confirm that this can be installed on an M1 mac using your updated instructions!

Hi @whs; I'm willing to do a bit of dev work on the MacOS side of things, but I need some help better understanding how this app actually works. I'm currently working to solve this issue where the alt1 app loads, but the overlays aren't being cleared correctly between interactions, which leads to the interfaces stacking the more you interact with the app. Here's an example with the AFK warden: Any advice on where to start would be super helpful. From what I can tell, you're essentially running the web app at |

Hi @whs and dev team, I am trying to download on mac and it isn't working. I follow the guide, have "anywhere" selected, type in the command in terminal, and it will bounce once (or not at all) on my dock and never open so I'm not able to even get to the preferences step. The trouble is with the actual launching to get it to open at all, it downloads, I type in the info, but then when I go to click it nothing responds. Could use some help on this, not sure if something is broken or wrong on my end. I'm not super tech savvy but have the basics so I could use some help. Thanks! |

Hello, I have been trying to download RuneKit following the instructions, but it doesn't open at all, once I do the terminal step and attempt to open the RuneKit.app nothing happens. I have MBP with High Sierra version 10.13.6. so my question is does it work with this software or do I need macOS 11+? |

Is there any possible update on this .app for Mac? It's 2023 and it was released in 2021. I'm sure things have changed since then as I'm using Ventura at this point on a MBP. |

Hi!
As a long time request from macOS users, I have built an .app from macOS which is available at https://github.com/whs/runekit/releases/download/mac/RuneKit.app.zip . This .app was tested to work with my 2017 MBP running Big Sur. Notably, the bank overlay viewer works and I did some compass/knot/scan clues just fine with expected overlay (sadly I didn't get any sliding puzzle but I'd assume it work the same).
To use the .app:
Edit: Updated instruction in README
This MacBook is on loan from my company for other development works, so I'll lose access to it in a few weeks. Please report back by end of this month if you have any issues so that it could remedied. If you could attach a Console log that would be really helpful. To get those logs, search "Console" in launchpad. Click "start streaming" then launch RuneKit and proceed until the problem arise. Post those logs alongside your issue. Make sure any sensitive information is redacted
Thanks!
