DevTools Inspector Not Working

Description
I want to debug application that I'm developing with Widget Inspector tool (https://docs.flutter.dev/tools/devtools/inspector). The problem is on the video record.

Basically I would like to see Widget Details Tree in Widget Inspector, but when I start using Widget Inspector my widget in application freeze and I can't see them on preview. I'm using VSCode.

Steps To Reproduce

1. Run the Widgetbook
2. The Widget Inspector window appears -> click in top left corner on "Toggle select widget mode"
3. Go back into app and try to click on a widget

Additional Context
In Widgetbook v2.4.0 it worked fine, problem appears after upgrade to v3.3.0

Addition to the issue described above: A user (bramp) also faces DevTools Inspector issues. However, it doesn't freeze, it just rebuilds the widgets and resets the book to the initial state (e.g. no use case selected). Please find more information in the Discord thread.

I'm adding this comment here so that as soon as someone works on a better DevTools integration, this use case won't be forgotten.
