Inconsistent Browser Experience

Using the latest Chrome on Windows 10 and Android. Using appendTo method of displaying image in textarea. Success in both browsers. Move to and give focus to an input field on the form. Windows 10 browser doesn't change, but Android browser resets textarea and image disappears. There are no active .change functions that would directly make this happen.

Thoughts?

So it doesn't look like there are too many playing in this space but I did want to add a bit more info that I have gathered on this. The page displaying the jSignature boxes is assembled with conditional DIV shows using jQuery scripts. I can repeat the no stroke issue and then recover from it by unchecking a few radio buttons, giving focus to an input field and then re-checking the radio buttons. When this is all done, the jSignature box can receive a stroke. Perhaps this gives somebody some ideas about what is happening. Thank you.
