Trying to renew certificate within 1 day (being aware of what I am doing) through A,Z options get a message that one needs to use -force switch. But this is what Z option is supposed to supply, is it not?

Internally there are two separate switches, force and ignorecache. The mapping to the command line and UX is somewhat clunky I admit, mostly for historic reasons. Basically now you'll have to use --force from the command line and then pick force again from the menu to get the ignorecache behaviour.

Thank you! It seems really tricky :)
Actually the reason I needed to renew cert is that every time after autorenewal (with appropriate installation script) a certificate is not usable with RD-server (Win2016): it shows up in the list, can be selected with no error, but not really saved - tells "Auto generated" again when Properties were reopened. BUT if I renew the cert manually it works as should.
I will be glad to provide any add'l info and assist in the investigation since it causes me problem every 3 month!
