The WT Airline Index is a registry of airline APIs that provides all that's necessary for a developer to easily use them, providing documentation and specification of each of them. This will connect travel applications with airlines directly and allow them to do distribution and shopping without intermediaries.
Implementation
Use smart contracts and distributed databases to share entry endpoints and resources to Airline APIs, this can be very similar to the WT Index contract used for hotels, airlines should be able to register their API and administrate it.
Write a simple client library to communicate directly with the APIs registered in the index.
For access to the LHG (Lufthansa Group) NDC API, please email: tomas.sedlacek@swiss.com and matias@windingtree.com. Webservices available are AirShoppingRQ/RS (Request and Response), OrderCreateRQ/RS, OrderRetrieveRQ/RS.
