Applying to image instance segmentation

I am going to apply your method to custom image instance segmentation rather than video instance segmentation.
The custom dataset is annotated with COCO image instance segmentation format.
Is it possible?

Yes, it is totally doable.
In fact, the IDOL model is an instance segmentation network with an external contrastive embedding head.
If this contrastive head is removed, it will becomes an image instance segmentation model.
