What do you mean by autocomplete? i_ctrl-x-ctrl-n works for me.

The line in the ftplugin almost certainly doesn't have any affect as it's currently overridden by the value set in the syntax file which already includes -. You can see this by running :verbose set isk?

FWIW my fork sets the syntax iskeyword correctly (using that syntax), and the ftplugin (should) include the hypen
