Fresh info! Today out now the new Ubuntu 12.10 linux called Quantal Quetzal.
Under the new Ubuntu 12.10 (i386 and amd64) the digital cinema tools setup script for asdcplib compile does not work, other part is good.

Thanks for reporting back with this one. I'll look into it.

Fixed.

12.10 derivatives ship G++ 4.7.2 which will nag about and fail because of unqualified names used in templates (two-phase lookup rules). See gcc.gnu.org/gcc-4.7/changes.html (Section C++) for details.

Using the suggested workaround for now. Tested on Ubuntu 12.10 i386 and installation is ok.

wolfgangw, I see the issue is closed now but could you, please, answer:
does it mean that I should ignore this message: asdcplib: Failed to configure, build and install, - or what?

Everything is OK now. Thanks very much!

Re-running the setup script will pick up the remaining issues and, in this case, install the missing asdcplib stuff.
