Crashing Issue

Love the program but unfortunately, it's been having a crashing issue since I installed it a few months ago. It crashes roughly every half hour (more when I'm using a lot of lasso tool) and requires me to reopen my project from the launcher. The autosave is good but I have still lost progress due to this issue before.
I can even force a crash by using lasso tool abundantly. My best guess is that the program might be getting "overworked" by lots of tool actions? Really can't say.
