Events on elements inside nav on touch devices don't run #1435

Here's a jsfiddle: http://jsfiddle.net/rw9u49by/4/

When you click the links, the alert pops up fine on desktop / laptop (tested in chrome) and then the slide changes. This is the expected behavior.

On touch devices (iPad / Nexus 10) there's no alert when clicking the link.

EDIT: On Nexus 10, the popup shows only once. On iPad it doesn't show at all.
