Describe the solution you'd like

Currently, the "Week to date" in Analytics by default selects Sunday as the start date:
week to date

It does seem that there's any way to change the day on which the week starts in Analytics.

Further, the WordPress → General "Week Starts On" setting is not regarded either:
week starts on

Request: It would be great if the "Week to date" in Analytics could be changeable or could align with the WordPress → General "Week Starts On" setting.

@AnnaMag do you think we can add this into our work load over the next month or two? This should be relatively easy to implement and seems like a valuable feature to have.

This turns out to be a Wordpress.com bug, caused in version 6.0.
There is a PR open to fix this in wordpress.com: WordPress/wordpress-develop#2456
I will leave this open until the above PR is merged.
