This issue is about monitoring all dependencies and reporting a list of all outdated dependencies for the whole project.
It might be good to add a step to the release scenarios to monitor the outdated dependencies on each code freeze. This would make sure that release managers have a good sense of where the project is with dependencies at any given moment. Also, this will make it possible for the curious someone to also take a quick look at the latest state of dependencies without an extra effort.
FYI: On iOS there exist an issue that monitors the outdated dependencies on each code freeze and posts the result as a comment (see Outdated Dependencies #1894).
