I am not sure which one should be an expected behavior but there seems to be an inconsistency in the Reader behavior on Android and iOS app when using the option "Block Sites".

Behaviour on the Android app

  • Go to Followed Sites and click on three dots by one of the sites that you follow
  • You will see the option to "Block Site" right away from there:

  • App version: 12.5
  • Tested on Android version 9

Behaviour on iOS

  • Go to Followed Sites and click on three dots by one of the sites that you follow
  • The option to "Block Site" does not show there

  • However, when you search for a specific tag e.g. "apple" and click on one of the sites that show under that tag, you can see the option to block the site:

  • App version: 12.5.1
  • Tested on multiple devices
