To make it so Windows trusts our application by default, we need to obtain a trusted certificate.

I will look into this in my company and get back to You.

We think it can be done cheaply through http://codesigning.ksoftware.net/ (4 years for 67 $).
If that is correct, we can donate for the first 4 years if you can perform the practical work with the implementation of the certificate.

Hi @dkJohan

Thanks for the offer! By 'practical work' do you mean maintaining it and continuing to enhance it?

Are you currently a user of ILEditor?

Thanks,
Liam

@worksofliam Hi, the practical work is ordering and implementing the cerficate on Your website. :-)
We think this is the best way. You can use the certificate to what ever You want for the period and hopefully find a sponsor when times comes.
I ment to try out ILEditor but Win10 security setting blocked the installation process. Probely due to the missing https on workofbarry.com.
We installed it on another Win10 with success though.
FYI we use sublime text 3 and fiddler 4 for rpgle coding. We have added colour coding and snippets to sublime.
