Is this project actively maintained @wsmd?

Are you open to opening up collaboration?

For anyone who might be looking to alternatives, I recently switched to react-hook-form for the bigger community and active maintenance. It's truly great and has many of the good parts of this library, with a fairly similar API. It has official support for joi validation, too.

@wsmd 's last contribution was in May 2021.. It does not look good 😰

I still prefer this package's API over others. Maybe time to fork this? It still works fine as is, but issues like the dependency warnings are a bit annoying.

@rijk the problem is npm; you can't just publish to the same package name unless you can argue with them about the package's inactivity (which I have won before... but before they changed their naming policies)

Also, since Microsoft took over Github, communicating with project owners seem to have become more complicated.

npm packages that haven't been maintained for over 2 years should be automatically marked as dead so maintainers are forced to at least update dependencies and make sure that their packages are up-to-date with recent Node engines.

I agree but I fear this maintainer might be no longer with us…
