Pcapstats is a minimal configuration network traffic analyzer.

## Building
Pcapstats is built and packaged using the gnu autotools.

If checking out from the git repository first run
root@localhost $ autoreconf -i

Building the source code
root@localhost $ ./configure
root@localhost $ make
root@localhost $ make install

## Hardware Requirements
This has yet to be properly evaluated, here is my sugestion 
for a SOHO environment

Pentium III 1Ghz
256Mb Memory

pcapstats 0.x.x was a rewrite of a perl script 
pcapstats 1.0.0 was a rewrite based on snort
pcapstats 1.1.0 ...
pcapstats 1.2.0 ...
pcapstats 1.30 added a ip defragmentation api
pcapstats 1.40 will be mostly a rewrite
