fix the telnet code to stop throwing telnet-exceptions

Since I've been doing the simplest of connection approaches imaginable, it has some issues. Telnet often responds with an error. I suppose I need to ashere to some sort of protocol, but I wouldn't know. Telnet is pretty much unknown to me.
The commands all get executed, but still, it would be nice if the commands went through 'clean'
