I have subscribed to an instance of GfW on my computer, and I see the phone
appear in the Network tab, and the box is checked. Also, I see the
subscription listed in the GfW Subscriptions tab. I also see the one app that
I have running in GfW (System Monitor) listed in the Apps section of GfA. On
the Main page of GfA I see that Growl is running, and I have an icon in the
status bar. However, I am not getting any notifications at all in GfA. I have
system monitor set to ping a resource that does not exist every minute. I see
the notification on my desktop that the host is unreachable, but I do not see
the notification on my phone.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would expect to see notifications on my phone.

Which version of Growl for Android are you running on your Android device?
I have installed GfA 0.9.

What is the make & model of your Android device?
Samsung Vibrant SGH-T959 (Galax S line)

Which version of Growl are you running on your computer?
v2.06

I should add that I am doing this over TCP, not bluetooth.

Forget it. I figured it out. GfA will not be able to subscribe over 3G
because GfA will be presented with an IP address that is not directly routable
to my phone. Duh. I have to do it over WiFi on my local LAN.

Someone really needs to figure out a way to make this work for a phone over 3G.
