Controller not recognized?

My controller shows up in my devices settings as Generic USB Joystick, but when I open x360ce I get an error:

Failed to load 'xinput1_3.dll'

SystemComponentModel.Win32Exception (0x80004005): The specified module could not be found

Generic USB joystick still shows up in the Controller / Device dropdown, but it's greyed out and the square on the controller 1 tab is red.

I assume this means that my particular brand of shitty controller is not supported but if there might be any other issue that I can fix please let me know.

Maybe you miss runtime files.
Try reinstalling directx and visual c++ redist 2015 update 3.

Also, put x360ce in it's own folder (a folder that contains only x360ce.exe)
