Is there any user case documentation somewhere? I quickly checked x42-plugins.com but didn't find nothing.

No documentation.It's mainly useful for testing - here in particular for http://moddevices.com/

long term synth continuous playback test (few days)
does a synth play all notes 0..127, all channels 0..16 and respond to velocities
does the sustain pedal work
blocksize vs sample accurate synth (Bach's prelude bwv846 has a few same note-on immediately after note-off)
does the host send CC/PGM at the very first process cycle, (here: the-cat -> setBfree)

and as bonus it can play "Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer" on auto-repeat :)
