2022.23 Lots of crashes while adjusting sequence parameters on Linux AppImage build

I'm seeing lots of crashes on Linux (Ubuntu 2022.04.1 LTS).

I have a simple sequence and a layout with one model, a 50 pixel line, using DDP protocol to a controller running WLED over wifi.
That all works fine, but if I edit settings of an effect (the one I tested was setting the style parameter on the Butterfly effect. If I adjust it too quickly it will hang and stop outputting to the lights. Some times the UI freezes and I have to restart sometimes I can turn the "output to lights" off and on and it comes back,

Here's what I get in the console logs.
This does not seem to happen on WIndows.
