is <c>java.io.FileDescriptor#valid() invalid</c>.
However, if the methods are invoked on the resulting stream to attempt
I/O on the stream, an <c>IOException</c> is thrown.</para>
<para>Android-specific warning: <c>#close()</c> method doesn't close the <c>fdObj</c> provided,
because this object doesn't own the file descriptor, but the caller does. The caller can
call <c>android.system.Os#close(FileDescriptor)</c> to close the fd.</para>
