<para>An object that creates new threads on demand. Using thread factories
removes hardwiring of calls to <c>Thread#Thread(Runnable) new Thread</c>,
enabling applications to use special thread subclasses, priorities, etc.</para>
<para>The simplest implementation of this interface is just:</para>

<para>The <c>Executors#defaultThreadFactory</c> method provides a more
