Any alternative way to get those images in there cleanly? I am using https://klarsys.github.io/angular-material-icons.

After I removed references to those images the menu bar worked nicely - the image places holders were confusing.

I think this might be related to the other issue.

The fix I described there will enable you to use Material design icons from google. That might not be the correct solution for you, but someone reading this might find it helpful.

Sorry about the HUGE delay to answer to this.

Right this component don't support angular-material-icons from klarsys. Maybe this can be added in the future. But I can accept an PR for this! :)
