Make agenda variables work

org-agenda-files is not set after loading -- it is set to some other random values. If you get this working, you will need to use this for my/pick-agenda-file under org/util.el too, so that the function will work when you change agenda config options too.

org-ref clobbers this: because when it's disabled, there's no clobbering. org-ref makes no direct mention of org-agenda-files in its source, which is odd.

I have tried disabling the config for org-ref to see if it was a config option -- it isn't.

It appears that org-ref itself, or one of its dependencies is the culprit.
