This is a known problem (rather an unimplemented feature), until the Player Manager is finished Retroplayer/Kodi only supports one controller. |
This may be true for Windows only (@garbear will be able to confirm) but on Linux multiple controllers work with multiplayer games (with some exceptions) |
Will we see a log at some point? |
sorry, i though this was flagged as ignored and it is known issues as reported by other user, do i still need to provide log of it? as currently i am away from home, i will only have access to my pc again end of this week. |
Sorry. Hit the "close" button by accident on my mobile. It was flagged as "Ignored" because you missed to provide a log ;) Not a problem if you are not at home. We just wait for the log then. Thanks |
I updated to v19 Matrix last night, and now i can use two XBOX controller, only certain game are not able to to use 2player. perhaps we can close this? |
@garbear can you confirm something in this regard has been changed for v19? Good to close that? |
Multiplayer wasn't a focus of MVP, so 2 controller support is woefully untested. Now that we're post-MVP, stable well-tested 2-controller support is on the roadmap. We'll leave this issue open to track its progress. I'll draft a RetroPlayer Roadmap issue linking here in the near future. |
thanks, it will be great if kodi can support 2 to 4 player especially when it come to game, since kodi is aim for family entertainment and i believe when we say family means it should have more than 2 peoples. 😃 |
