Bug report

Describe the bug

Here is a clear and concise description of what the problem is:
If you are using Kodi in another language than English, the Repository add-on browser does not show the translated summary/description, but only shows the English text. Even the Information pane opened from the add-on browser is still in English.

However, if you open the information pane from the add-on icon directly, it is translated.

Expected Behavior

Here is a clear and concise description of what was expected to happen:
Kodi is using the translated summary/description from addon.xml

Actual Behavior

Kodi shows the English text from addon.xml in the add-on browser and in the Information pane opened from the Repository add-on browser.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Change language
  2. Go to add-on browser
  3. Look at a translated add-on

Will look to fix it, at the moment there is still the problem that the repository content is stored in Kodi with a database, if the language changes now unfortunately the content remains in the previous language. Only when the database is updated should it change.

@AlwinEsch I figured something like that, but updating the repository metadata did not help, hence my report here. I doubt this is an important issue, but maybe it is not so difficult to fix either.

Thanks in advance and kind regards.
