Close as normal no Crash report

Actual Behavior

After closing Kodi I always get an error report

Possible Fix

None. This issue has been going on for years. The issue was on the previous Kodi's 17 & 16

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. open Kodi
2. close Kodi
3. Mac generates an error report

Used Operating system:

• Android

• iOS

• Linux

• [11] OSX

• Raspberry-Pi

• Windows

• Windows UWP

• Operating system version/name:
  MacOS Big Sur Beta 5

As mentioned before regardless of the OS this has always been an issue. The issue happens with macOS Catalina.

Please provide the full output of that crashreport you posted on your screenshot. That snippet is likely useless and the log doesn't show anything as well as it was uploaded while Kodi is still running.

So we need the output of that report and not only a snippet like it's currently shown

Could you please try to confirm the same issue happens with Kodi 19? Kodi 18 won't get any bugfixes anymore and the devs might be interested in if the issue is already fixed in v19.

Yes, this also happens with Kodi 19. but it only happens when I first install it. after that, it behaves normally.

ok, so sounds to me, that it's somewhat fixed if everything works well after the 2nd run.

This happens to me on my M1 Mac Mini running Big Sur 11.6 and Kodi Matrix 19.2 every time I close the app.

Same here : I have to force quit every time I close Kodi 19.3 on Big Sur 11.6.

Please shout out if the same issue still happens on recent nighlies. Closing as obsolete.
