Sometimes I will search by the same or similar keyword multiple times. The search box will automatically clear after I click one tab. It's inconvenient if I have to type the entire keyword(s) again.

It would be great if there is way to persist the last 10 search keywords (typing something then click or cancel), for example I typed f, fo, foo then click a tab, it should only record foo.

And when I focus on searchbox again, there should be one way to typeahead based on my previous keywords.

The same story could apply to command.
