NTSC

Bug Description

Certain animations take longer to complete when compared to original hardware. The emulator is not slowing down in framerate. This can be observed with several animations, but for this report, we will show the spin animation. Important to note this only seems to happen on higher res scales, despite the framerate remaining at 59-60

Steps to recreate

  1. Set scale to 10x
  2. Start game
  3. make new gamefile
  4. Press the (X) button to perform a spin.
  5. observe the slower animation

Here is what it looks like on xemu, the first is at 1x (lasts 25 frames) the second is at 10x (lasts 29 frames)

Expected Behavior

Animations last a specific length of time, less than what is observed on xemu

lasts 25 frames (went by when the wand disappears (24 frames), but to make it equal with xemu the animation would end on frame 25 here)
