this isnt a bug it was an issue on original hardware. the devs just decided to be cheap when making the game and do a lazy widescreen |

upscaling is broken in this game though |
If upscaling is broken, let's take a look at whats causing a sync and preventing upscale before closing. May be resolved on hard scale branch |

Bug Description
Surface scale does not work no matter how many times it is increased. :
Expected Behavior
The resolution must increase whenever a scale greater than the native resolution is selected.
