Cutscenes doesn't work on Apple Silicon Mac

Bug Description

Fmv’s in "sfd" format used by many games during cutscenes doesn't work.
The screen remains black but the audio and subtitles work correctly.

Expected Behavior

The videos plays normally

What game?

Have you tested other platforms? The way this issue is worded makes it sound like the problem is localized to M1 Macs only. Is this what you meant?

I noticed this on Silent Hill 2, DOA Xtreme Beach, Max Payne and others...

I also tested on Windows 10 on PC and the cutscenes work fine.
I think the problem is localized only on Mac M1 yes.

#991 may be a dup of this, I found what appears to be the triggering cause for Ninja Gaiden Black there.

Can confirm this is also happening on DOA Extreme Beach Volleyball in MacOS Ventura dev beta 1. JetSet radio future works properly.
