t/hook-inittab.t currently requires the local system to have a file at /etc/inittab to test the inittab-modifying hooks of xen-tools. This only works if the local system (or chroot) still has an inittab.

Additionally it's not tested if the local /etc/inittab is suitable for being used for testing. The test will e.g. fail, too, if /etc/inittab is just an empty file.
