Can you upload a log with the multiplayer xex? |
Yeah I can. How do I go about creating a log? Also, my current build has been updated to a6012b7. The multiplayer xex now reports that the game is now claiming to be unable to read game data. The halo CEA xex crashes on this new build. I can build bd490d5 if you would like the log from that version instead of a6012b7. |
the way I've been generating logs is by running xenia "path/to/file" > log.txt |

Huh, any idea why xenia can't progress past the cutscene? Did you test the multiplayer xex? |
If you mean the halo reach dlc, then yeah, that works but it has been for a while now |
Have you tried removing some of the .bik files, or any similar files in CEA? Seems to make Halo 4 Work, although seizure inducing. |
It looks like the game might be using a virtual volume to cache textures/shaders in order to support the switch between classic and remastered mode. The volume doesn't appear to be mounting, so the background loading threads deadlock. Testing with a kit, an unnamed volume is mounted, but it is exclusively locked and cannot be opened. |

Issues:
The game starts, but it will either hang during some point in the initial BIK intro or when the intro completes. The first loading screen also becomes very blurry. It is responsive to input, i.e. it will attempt to skip the intro when pressing A on a controller. The multiplayer XEX, which is just Halo Reach's patched to title update 1, crashes immediately upon boot.
