Calendar widget: Start interval month not returning data

Replicate:

• Add a Weekly static calendar widget
• Set a valid Feed URL
• Set filter Events from the start of the to day or week and it returns data
• Setting the same filter to month and the widget shows the sample data instead

I figure out what the problem was: if we search for beginning of the month and the current data is > week from the start of the month, the default interval will only return the first week, so the current view won't show any events.

The question is if we should show Sample Data if the filter is valid, but not showing any results?
