Problem with using WPJ563 board

I am currently using a recently purchased WPJ563 board to run this CSI collection tool using openWRT according to the instructions in https://wands.sg/research/wifi/AtherosCSI/Hardware.html.
I am trying to ssh into the device to be able to install the tool, but it keeps denying my permission to access the root, giving the response "permission denied, please try again". I set the ethernet port's ip as 192.168.1.1, and sshed to the address after connecting via ethernet. I have also enabled ssh and changed the passwords on the lily website. The passwords I have tried include "password", "passwd" " ", and "root." Do you know what the password happens to be, or if I am approaching this wrong.
