What's this all about?

It's a program that tracks reddit comments, and replies with non-mobile links when it sees mobile ones. When you give somebody a link to a webpage using a mobile device, you will often produce the link to the "mobile" version of the website. For desktop users, they are not displayed well:

Mobile amazon.com

Normal amazon.com

The robot adds the links to the normal version of the page you are referring to, keeping both desktop and mobile users happy.

Q: But the original comment has a non-mobile link already!
A: Check for the star, the author edited the comment. If not, then it's a bug, please report.

Q: Your robot broke the link!
A: Please check for edit, in all likehood, the original comment had a broken link that the author did fix.

Yes, edit tracking is top on the TODO list, but I don't have time for it right now. Please drop me a line if you'd like to implement it.

Still curious? Leave your comments in the robot's subreddit: http://www.reddit.com/r/LittleHelperRobot
