When using SMUX 2 user bit[2] is set high to indicate 88.2/96kHz as per "Alesis ADAT Proprietary Multichannel Optical Digital Interface ADDENDUM February 2001 2X Sample Rate (96kHz) Specification"

For 176.4/192kHz the transmitter also sets this bit, it is unclear if this is correct.
