Mix at 0 still has noticeable effect on sound

This issue may be present on the OSX original, so apologies if it's not on your end:
Even with the mix parameter at 0, the sound is still noticeably affected. The mode doesn't matter, nor do any other settings that I tried. Steps to reproduce: With mix at 0, turn the device off in Ableton and note the audible difference.

My specs: Live 11.1 (and bundled Max version used), Windows 10
