Hi,

First of all, congratulations for the work. It is really nice!

I was able to compile xoreos on ubuntu, and I had to install the following packages (in case you want to add to a dependencies file):

liblzma-dev libsdl2-dev libxvidcore-dev libfaad-dev libvorbis-dev libmad0-dev libogg-dev

Thanks. :)

Right now, this information is already in our Wiki: https://wiki.xoreos.org/index.php?title=Compiling_xoreos#Libraries.

Should that also be in the BUILDDEP file? I'm not sure; I'm always wary about duplicating information...

Nice page, that is what I didn't found out :-) I just read the readme, didn't visited the wikli page. I'm also against duplicating thigs, so maybe we can link this somehow on the readme?

Assuming that you are not distributing binaries yet, maybe we can add a short note on that on the start of the first "Running xoreos" paragraph? Something like this:

We are not distributing binaries for xoreos yet, so you will have to compile yourself.. You also need to fully install and/or copy the game you want to play with xoreos onto your hard disk. How you do this depends on the game, your operating system and where/how you have bought the game.

I can send a patch request if you like

Hmm, I don't really think that belongs in the "Running xoreos" section. So I added a new, small section "Compiling xoreos": https://github.com/xoreos/xoreos#compiling-xoreos . Thanks :)
