When converting a tried target to an IP address getaddrinfo returns an IPv4 address if the tried target has only an IPv4 address. However, when the target logged into the cmsd on a redirector that has an IPv6 address its IP address is in IPv6 format. When the redirector tries to match up the two addresses it invariable fails to find the target to be avoided and the tried argument is ignored.
