Opening a system should probably be covered in the main docs - I had to dig it out of the demo dir. Which is probably why this isn't working - but I figured I'd report that I couldn't run https://juxt.pro/crux/docs/queries.html#_history_api while I was at it.

Hi @arrdem thanks for checking out Crux and for leaving the feedback -- I'm sorry you hit a problem so soon! I am trying to reproduce the error. It looks like your indexer wasn't consuming the logs. Please can you confirm the version of Kafka you were using (and/or how you were running it)?

Did you have more success with the standalone mode at least?

@refset I was running Kafka & ZK locally via the Confluent Platform tools @ 5.2.1 (Kafka 2.0.X). I haven't messed with fully embedded mode (yet) as my use case really depends on networked durability.
