Description

Given a Weather table, write a SQL query to find all dates' Ids with higher temperature compared to its previous (yesterday's) dates.

Id(INT)	RecordDate(DATE)	Temperature(INT)
1	2015-01-01	10
2	2015-01-02	25
3	2015-01-03	20
4	2015-01-04	30

For example, return the following Ids for the above Weather table:

Id
2
4

Solution

select `w2`.`Id` from `Weather` `w1`, `Weather` `w2`
where datediff(`w2`.`RecordDate`, `w1`.`RecordDate`) = 1
and `w2`.`Temperature` > `w1`.`Temperature`;
