The latest release appears to be 1.2.7

Yet the build file shows it is up to 1.2.9
Any plans to tag 1.2.8 or 1.2.9 in github? This would make it easier for those who create packages to know what commit to choose.

Sorry, need to tag them. However, 1.2.7 is most stable on large clusters. Consumer offset polling needs to be refactored to be less aggressive.

We're close, upgrading to latest version of play, i just need to test it out before merging and tagging.
1.3.0.4 has been released. Please give it a try, there is a hard java 8 requirement.
